Our Venue
Mini Minors & XUK takes place at the beautiful Brookland School in Hampstead Garden Suburb. Mini Minors is based at the infants and XUK is based in the junior school. Here are some of the reasons we have been at Brookland’s for well over 20 years. It has:
- Wonderful bright classrooms
- Two large halls that mean come rain or shine we can run fantastic activities
- Beautiful grounds including playgrounds, nursery play area and a large playing field
- Fantastic facilities enabling us to run activities including, discos, parachute games, football, rocket-making and many more. We never have to leave the site!
- Enables us to run a camp that meets our strict criteria for safety and security
- Numerous buildings which allow us to split our age groups into different parts of the complex so children of similar ages can play together
- An amazing team that run the school. We work very closely with them in the best interests of Mini Minors and XUK, the school and the local community.

Getting to Camp
Public Transport
If you are taking the bus to camp you can catch the 102. This stops on the A1 at Brookland Rise, just a very short walk from camp.
The closest tube station to Brookland School is East Finchley. This is about a 15 minute walk.
Driving & Parking
Brookland School is situated off Hill Top, London, NW11 6EJ
When parking please prioritise the safety of children and adults at all times. It is essential you read and follow the parking code of conduct below to ensure the safety of our children.
Lifts
Please chat to other parents and see if you can car share or set up a rota. Any arrangements you make are your responsibility. Please always ensure your children are safe.
Parking at Brookland School
We strongly advise walking to camp each morning and afternoon. If this is not possible, please park as far away from the main entrance as possible.
For the safety of our campers and staff and due to logistics you are not able to bring cars into the school.
We understand that you may need to drive to camp in some circumstances.
Should you need to bring your car, we ask that you support the voluntary one way system which has been in operation for many years during morning and afternoon drop off times.

- No unauthorised / parent / carer vehicles are allowed on the school premises.
- A voluntary one-way system operates on Brookland Rise and Brookland Hill that goes in a clockwise direction for the periods of delivery and collection of children
- Children and parents/carers, where possible, should improve the general environment by walking
- Parents/carers should not park immediately outside the school gates but try to park further away and walk their children to camp
- Parents/carers should park for as short a period as possible
- Parents/carers should not park on the yellow zig zag lines and try to avoid parking close to or on the corners of Brookland Hill
- Parents/carers should improve the general environment by sharing cars and operating rotas when delivering and collecting children
- Cars must not park on grass verges or pavements at any time
- Cars must not be parked across residents’ driveways at any time
- Parents/carers should put the safety of the children first and consider the problems of local residents when collecting and delivering children
- Parents/carers should only use the main entrance on Hill Top to access camp
