We don’t have a closing date as such – we hold our group interviews every month so it very much depends how many new team members we hire. The later you apply, the fewer positions available! We advise applying ASAP to get your preferred role and contract length.
We are looking to fill positions for both Easter and summer...
• Leaders – deliver lots of fun activities to your group such as Arts & Crafts projects, interactive story time and outdoor parachute games. Work in a team with other Leaders and a Group Leader. Ideal for students looking to work with children in a fun environment over the holidays
• Group Leaders – oversee a team of Leaders, ensuring that all the campers in your group are having the best time at our day camp! Complete daily paperwork and ensure the EYFS is being implemented. The perfect job for qualified teachers looking for an extra income in the school vacations
• Supervisor – responsible for an age group, ensuring all campers have a great range of activities on their timetable and are safe and happy. You would also deal with any behaviour management issues within the age group. Have you got experience as a supervisor or manager within a childcare setting? Apply today!
• Sports Coaches – love sport? We are on the lookout for a team member to run high quality, engaging and safe sports sessions to our 3-4s and 5-6s this Easter and summer. Experience working with younger children is essential
• Sports Coaches (Specialist Activity Leader) – fancy spending your whole summer running sports activities to enthusiastic kids and teens? We are on the hunt for experienced sports coaches to join the team at our specialist summer camp, XUK Excel
• Dorm & Activity Leader (with sports experience) – do you have a love of sports but also fancy a bit of the pastoral side of things too? Check out our Dorm & Activity Leader role available at all our residential camps
• Adventure Team (Specialist Activity Leader) – this is the perfect role for somebody who wants to enter the world of outdoor education but is not yet qualified. The role entails assisting our Water & Forest Adventure elective campers to their activities ran by a third party. There will be lots of opportunities to get involved and run other fun activities in the afternoons
• NPLQ Lifeguards – are you an NPLQ qualified lifeguard? Get in touch today. You won’t just be life guarding, you’ll also be fully immersed in camp life as a Dorm & Activity Leader too
• Creative Arts (Specialist Activity Leader) – calling all performers... Can you act? Sing? Dance? Join our Creative Arts elective at XUK Excel this summer and help our campers to shine in the spotlight
• Pastoral Manager – are you a natural at dealing with homesickness? Can you ensure that up to 125 campers are eating well at meal times? Do you have experience in behaviour management? Check out our Pastoral Manager role
• Activity Manager – we run outstanding activities at all of our camps but these need to be risk assessed and checked regularly to ensure every activity is ran to a high quality. Sometimes our staff team might need a bit of training and guidance on how to make their activities even better...
