XUK also offers a full creative arts program including arts, crafts, performing arts and cookery among others.
On top of all the onsite excitement XUK Residential offers an extensive Trips and Excursions program, which includes cultural and shopping trips to local towns and cities. These include Bath, Salisbury and Winchester. Optional Extras include theatre trips in London, Aquaparks, laser combat and days out at the local theme park.
Safety and safeguarding is at the forefront of everything XUK Camps do and as a result, each of the exciting activities and trips mentioned require a team of talented, dedicated and inspiring staff to lead and chaperone.
Positions of this type are extremely hard work and require long hours and dedication, however they are also incredibly rewarding and can open up a host of opportunities both within XUK and beyond.
For the ambitious and experienced applicants, many summer camps offer behind the scenes positions. These types of roles are great for the administratively minded individuals.
XUK prides itself on developing their staff and promoting progression within the company. For some new staff members they can start the summer as an pastoral / activity leader and end as a ‘head of house’ or even a member of the management team.
