XUK offers multi-activities for Children (from age 8) and teenagers (up to 17). They spend between one and five weeks of their summer holidays at XUK, joining one of our three groups – Juniors, Intermediates or Teens.
Staying in the beautiful venue of Dauntsey’s School, your child will enjoy a range of adventurous, creative and lively activities as well as ‘off-site’ Trips. Our ‘optional extras’ allow each family to tailor make their camp experience with their choice of activities!
We can also organise travel from train stations, airports, a London pick up or you can come and see us at camp when you drop your children off with us.
An enthusiastic and dynamic staff team makes XUK an exceptional holiday camp. With a constant flow of innovative ideas and strong sense of fun they make sure each child and every teen has the best summer ever!
What are parents / carers looking for when they send their child or teen to a summer holiday camp? Of course, there will be different answers from many. Some its just about childcare, some its about enjoyment, some for independence and some to improve their English Language by immersing themselves in the summer camp activities and English Culture. And we assume that any of this is underpinned by wanting to know your loved ones are as safe as possible in a nurturing environment.
Registered with OFSTED, you can be assured that XUK take its summer holiday camps responsibilities very seriously! A comprehensive Policies and Procedures document ensures that XUK is as safe as possible and all our campers are treated equally wherever they are, including our summer school for kids.
Everything we do starts with our staff. Many of them return to run summer camp activities from previous years. And the rest of the team are recruited following our diligent procedures. Each member has an interview, has references checked, has a DBS check and is fully informed of what will be happening at our summer school for kids before they start. They then receive a comprehensive training period before the first campers arrive. Then the fun begins and summer camp activities start.
The atmosphere at XUK summer holiday camps is hard to imagine unless you’re there. A deep and caring involvement from staff, campers who are passionate about what they do and an activity programme based on XUK favourites and fresh exciting ideas keep our amazing children and teens coming back year after year.
The priority at all XUK’s camps (including our summer school for kids) is quality childcare and safeguarding. Safeguarding refers to all things that adults do to keep children safe and protect them from harm. Whilst your child is in our care we are responsible for their well-being and safety. In everything we do, the welfare of your child will be our top priority.
Our residential camp takes place at Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire, surrounded by beautiful countryside. It’s a safe and spacious setting with excellent facilities for activities, sports, and off-site trips.
Children and teenagers aged 8 to 17 can join. Campers are grouped as Juniors, Intermediates, or Teens to ensure activities and supervision are age-appropriate.
Every week includes a mix of adventure, sports, creative workshops, team challenges, and themed evening events. Campers also enjoy exciting off-site trips to nearby attractions.
Families can book from one to five weeks, depending on their plans. Many campers choose to extend their stay once they experience the camp’s friendly atmosphere.
The camps are owned and managed by brothers Richard and Nicholas Bernstein, supported by an experienced team dedicated to safety, care, and creating memorable experiences for every camper.
Safety and welfare are our top priorities. XUK is registered with OFSTED and follows strict safeguarding policies. All staff are DBS-checked and trained to care for campers responsibly.
Campers stay in comfortable dormitories that usually sleep between one and six children. The accommodation is clean, secure, and designed to help everyone settle quickly and feel at home.
